Three paths to unbesmirchment

I. Folksy
The gales of folksong waft under
                           guise
(of the hapless mendicant)

Appending ways of the just
                      past

Onto a consul of unjust
                 pastiches.

II. Ballsy
Mouth is shorn of the pretty
                      past

Participles participating in petty
                             poesy.

Guts need revision,
          Truth

Be told.

III. Consistency
When you rack your brains, the glue
                               unglistens

And congeals atoms of tentative vigor
                                attempting

To be held together and stitched
                        anew.
